Oldfield Residents invited to attend this Saturday's Grant Park Safety and Security Meeting

Grant Park - Monday, June 16, 2014 PUBLIC SAFETY PRESENTATIONS: We have reserved the meeting room at the Grant Park Rec center for Saturday, June 21 for 11 AM until 2 PM. We will have a two-part program for neighbors in NPU-W. From 11 until noon we will have officers from the community policing division talking about personal, home, and vehicle security. This is an opportunity for the community to learn about the programs which APD has in place to reduce crime. From Noon until 2PM Officer Michael Banja from the APD training academy will present a general program on firearms safety and security. He will discuss home security for firearms, current Georgia law and will have time for questions. Officer Banja presents an extended version of this program to numerous police jurisdictions in the metro area. Neighbors are welcome to attend either or both of these programs.
